I’m deeply honored by the trust my fellow sheriffs have placed in me, and I embrace the opportunity to continue serving the people of our great state as president of the Utah Sheriffs' Association. In my 27 years of law enforcement service, working closely with the elected sheriffs across the state of Utah has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Here in Utah, we understand the value of working together, looking out for one another, and keeping our communities safe and strong. The collaboration we have within this association is key to making that happen.

Each of Utah’s 29 counties has its own challenges and opportunities—whether it’s public lands issues across the wide-open spaces of our rural areas or the rapid growth in our cities. The Utah Sheriffs’ Association is committed to making sure every county has the resources and support it needs. Public safety is our highest priority, and that starts with being prepared for whatever comes our way. As we address crime, respond to emergencies, and work to keep our communities secure, you can count on us to be ready, proactive, and adaptable.

For us, law enforcement is about more than just enforcing law; it’s about building trust and strong relationships with the community. It is about citizens being able to exercise individual liberty by feeling safe each day. As the only elected law enforcement office, Utah’s sheriffs are accountable to you, and that trust is the foundation of everything we do. We do not face issues alone. We rely on collaboration—not only with our law enforcement partners but also with local leaders and with the people we serve.

My mission is simple: to protect your rights, listen to your concerns, and strengthen the bonds between law enforcement and the community. I’m committed to being accessible and approachable. My door is always open, and I want to hear from you. Whether we’re addressing safety concerns or discussing ways to improve, I will always strive to lead with humility, respect, and a willingness to listen.

It’s a privilege to work alongside such a dedicated and professional group of sheriffs. Together, we’ll continue to do whatever is necessary to protect our communities, hold ourselves to the highest standards, and keep Utah a safe and vibrant place to live, work, and raise our families.

Sincerely,

Glover Signature
